If you’re visiting Sedona, your mornings should start the right way—good coffee, red rock views, and nowhere to rush.
While there are plenty of places to grab a quick cup, Sedona’s locally owned coffee shops are where the real experience is. Whether you’re heading out for an early hike, easing into a slow morning, or just looking for a great latte with a view, these are our go-to spots.
Here are some of our favorite local coffee shops in Sedona—no chains, just really good coffee.

Best for: Quality coffee + local vibe
Firecreek is one of the most reliable, locally rooted coffee spots in Sedona. They roast their own beans, the coffee is consistently great, and the space has that relaxed, welcoming feel you want in the morning.
It’s a great all-around option—whether you’re grabbing something quick before a hike or sticking around for a second cup.
Best for: A slow, relaxed morning
Layla’s is the kind of place you go when you want to sit, stay awhile, and enjoy the morning. Great coffee, fresh pastries, and a comfortable atmosphere make it perfect for easing into the day.
This is a favorite for guests who want a more laid-back start before exploring Sedona.
And the best part, this location is walkable from our West Sedona home!
Best for: Coffee + something sweet
A little more casual, but always satisfying. If you’re craving something sweet with your coffee, this is the spot. Think fresh donuts, strong coffee, and an easygoing vibe.
Perfect for a quick treat before heading out for the day. If you get there early enough, snag a "Vortex" cinnamon roll and enjoy!
Best for: Breakfast with your coffee
Not your typical coffee shop—but worth including. Known for its massive breakfast menu, this is a great place if you want a full meal alongside your coffee.
It’s a classic Sedona stop and a solid option if you’re fueling up for a full day of exploring.
Best for: Central location + consistent quality
One of my personal favorites! Located in the heart of Sedona, Cuptown is reliable, friendly, and easy to get to. The coffee is solid, the service is quick, and it’s a convenient stop no matter where you’re headed.
Great if you’re out exploring and need a dependable mid-morning pick-me-up.
6. Local Juicery (Coffee + Healthy Options)
Best for: Lighter, health-focused options
If you’re looking for something a little different, Local Juicery offers great coffee alongside smoothies, juices, and lighter fare. It’s a good balance if you want something refreshing but still need your caffeine fix. Their avocado toast is some of the best I've had and you can walk there from our Sedona home!
7. Indian Gardens Café (Worth the Short Drive)
Best for: Coffee with a unique setting
A bit outside the main Sedona area in Oak Creek Canyon, but absolutely worth it. Indian Gardens has a relaxed, tucked-away feel that’s hard to beat. Coffee, food, and a peaceful setting make it feel like a hidden gem.
If you have time, this is one of the more memorable stops on the list.

A Better Way to Experience Sedona Mornings
One of the best parts of staying in Sedona is slowing down—and your mornings should reflect that.
Many of our guests like to:
Grab coffee early and head out for a hike
Bring it back and enjoy it with the view
Or take their time and ease into the day
If you’re staying in one of our properties—whether it’s the Airstream, container, or cabin—you’re never far from a great local coffee spot.
